What can we say? This guy’s talent has already made him famous. But despite a laundry list of impressive performances and a resume chalk full of accomplishments and appearances, Troy is one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. Which is a good thing because his deep bass voice can be kind of intimidating. So what exactly has Troy all done? Where to start…he’s appeared on Starsearch, starred in over a dozen musicals (most recently as Tom Collins in RENT on, yes, Broadway), and appeared as a personality host on the commercial revue show, Firebrand Television. Troy has also spent time traveling the world as a singer and songwriter, performing in places like Vienna’s City Hall and Universal Studios, Japan. But wait – there’s more. Troy has written for artists such as Boomkat (Dreamworks) and Deborah Cox (Decca), and has appeared on multiple records as a lead or background singer. His voice also can be heard on television and film soundtracks including, All About You and America’s Next Top Model. And on countless jingles from Gillette to Pillsbury. Outside of Home Free Troy is busy being featured in things like Forbes Magazine. Which makes sense…I mean c’mon the guy is clearly talented. So how we’ve managed to secure him as the bass for Home Free? We’re still trying to figure that out.
